Volunteers needed at Tooting's Fishponds Community Garden!
Volunteering opportunity! 🌷🌿🍅 The Fishponds Community Garden in Tooting is coming together, with the first raised bed now built – volunteers will meet again tomorrow, Saturday 9th May 9th, 10am-2pm, to build more beds. All welcome!
The team of builders transported massive oak timbers across the fields to start to build the beds, altogether moving 1.5 tonnes of timber from the top of the field to the garden site near the flower meadow. Positions were marked for all the beds.
There’s lots more work to do, but a great start has been made! Forever Fishponds would like to thank all those involved on Saturday.
All are welcome to the next building session this Saturday, 10am-2pm. Please bring your own drinks and snacks.
