Trustees needed at The Woodfield Pavilion on Tooting Bec Common!
The Woodfield Pavilion was a disused sports pavilion on the fringes of the common, and The Woodfield Project charity was set up in 2014 to refurbish and relaunch it as a community centre. In the twelve years since, the Pavilion has become a hub for the Common community, offering events and activities that support the Project’s charitable aims of enhancing social wellbeing, bringing people together, and encouraging appreciation of and care for the surrounding natural environment.
Now, new Pavilion Manager Eddie has great ideas for expanding the provision for the community, and The Project is seeking to add to their trustee board to give him the support he needs.
They’re looking for local people keen to get involved and help them grow our reach and the activities they can provide. So, if you’re passionate about the area and local communities, and have the skills and enthusiasm to ensure that they continue to thrive, they’d like to hear from you!
