Amy has launched Indie Wine Club in Tooting Market, where Unwined was previously located!
Amy tells us, "After working at Unwined for a number of years, I'm so excited that the previous owners transferred the business to me to continue the legacy, which I've now relaunched with a new name!
"Indie Wine Club is very much the same ethos – we'll focus on independent wine makers (including female wine makers) and will highlight different and unfamiliar regions and grapes.
"There'll also be wine tastings every Wednesday, and supper clubs with wine pairings coming soon on Thursdays, where we'll collaborate with different food vendors in Tooting Market!"
Indie Wine Club also offers delivery and click & collect, with wine box subscriptions coming soon. Alcohol-free wines, beers and ciders are also available.

We’re sad to report that Morleys Tooting will be permanently closing on 30th April 2025. However, it’s still very much business as usual at the popular Tooting store, with a closing-down sale starting on Thursday 9th January, and continuing over the months leading up to the closure.
The property at 103-111 Mitcham Road has been sold by Morleys Stores for redevelopment into 24 private residential units with commercial space on the lower ground and ground floors. Morleys decided to close the Tooting location as part of a trading and property review of the business (full story via Drapers).
Transport for London is part way through a roll-out of 4G and 5G connectivity across the tube network and Elizabeth line, with 5G now available between Balham and Stockwell, with coverage also possible on the platforms at Oval.
You'll get a phone signal so long as you're on one of the four UK networks: EE, Vodafone, Three and VMO2. Your phone should automatically connect, and there is no extra charge.

The NHS is urging people in Tooting and around London to give blood and help save lives this year after a challenging festive period – recent national figures reveal that over the Christmas week, demand for blood from hospitals exceeded collections by almost 3,000 units
During the same period, demand for the vital O negative blood used to save lives in emergencies exceeded collections by over 900 units.
Currently England remains in Amber alert for low blood stocks. While community venues are well booked, there is good availability at the seven London Donor Centres in Tooting, Brixton, Edgware, Stratford, Shepherds Bush, the West End and Twickenham, which have a combined total of almost 26,000 appointments available over the next six weeks.
People with O negative, B negative and Ro blood types are particularly needed. There is an ongoing need for more donors of Black heritage to help patients with sickle cell who need ethnically matched blood.
First time donors who don’t know their blood type will find out after their first successful donation.
Giving blood is quick and easy, with the process taking just one hour. To book an appointment visit www.blood.co.uk, use the GiveBlood app or call 0300 123 23 23.
On New Year’s Day, Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) volunteers from Tooting, Earlsfield, Balham, Clapham and Battersea continued their annual tradition of a street cleaning initiative on Clapham Common.
This year’s initiative saw over 60 volunteers, including 12 members from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association, collecting 10 bags of litter.
Rabeeb Mirza, Local Regional Youth Leader of Baitun Noor, said: "Cleanliness is a core tenet of our faith, and this initiative allows us to put our values into action while giving back to our country. Seeing our youth and community members come together on New Year’s morning to serve others is truly inspiring. Even a few hours of effort can make a significant difference."
"This year’s clean-up was a testament to the dedication of our volunteers," added Rabeeb. "Across the country, AMYA volunteers collected 493 bin bags of litter and contributed over 2,758 of service, showing their unwavering commitment to improving the communities we live in."
