Wandsworth Foodbank is appealing for help from the local community – please visit their website if you can help.
Wandsworth Foodbank provided more than 13,000 emergency food parcels to local people facing hardship between 1 January 2025 and 31 December 2025, with 63% of these provided for households with children, according to figures from Wandsworth Foodbank released this week.
Dan Frith, Wandsworth Foodbank Manager, says: “Every day, we meet people facing hunger who are struggling to get by. We are here to provide a warm welcome, support, advice and emergency food, but it shouldn’t have to be this way. Food banks are not a long-term solution.
People can help Wandsworth Foodbank continue to provide warm, compassionate, practical support and advice by donating food or funds on their website.

“House of ORA will be a cultural hub offering everything from late-night DJ sets to live music, art and photography exhibitions and magazine launches to curated pop-ups – focused on bringing the wider community together through music, art and culture.
