The Wandsworth Disabled People’s Forum (WDPF), run by and for local disabled people, hold meetings in the borough every three months (see below).
Akalikai Sivarajah, Chair of WDPF, tells us, “In our community, we as disabled people want to make sure that our voices are heard. Therefore, we stand in unity, with shared purpose and collective empowerment to share our views and lived experiences, to represent the changes we want to see, and work with decision makers to make a change happen.
“We are a very welcoming group, who come together to try to make Wandsworth borough more accessible and inclusive for all. Our meetings bring together a wide variety of stakeholders with the aim of learning from one another and working together for change. All are welcome to join.
“Our next meeting is on Tuesday 15th September 2026, 1pm-3pm, at Balham Library Hall, 16 Ramsden Rd, SW12 8QY.”
