Thames Water works at Tooting Broadway
Thames Water are undergoing works in Tooting Broadway, at the junction of Mitcham Road and Garratt Lane from today, 11 May 2026, for approximately three weeks. Temporary traffic lights are in operation, and traffic delays are expected.
Longmead Road is also closed at the junction with Mitcham Road from 11 May 2026 for approximately 3 weeks.
The work is part of a £15 million upgrade of their clean water main along the A24, which Thames Water says will strengthen and modernise the water network in South London.
