Police called to stabbing incident in Tooting
Police were called at around 11.30pm on Thursday, 25 June to reports of an altercation involving a group of young people on Southcroft Road in Tooting.
Two men intervened in the altercation, during which one of the men, aged in his 30s, was stabbed.
Officers attended with paramedics and the man was taken to hospital with knife wounds to his head and arm. His injuries were deemed to be neither life-threatening nor life-changing and he has been discharged from hospital.
The group that carried out the assault fled the scene. A14-year-old boy was subsequently arrested near the scene on suspicion of affray. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
