Heavy horses return to Wandsworth!
The heavy horses return to Wandsworth parks (including Tooting Common) starting next week!
They will be returning to help mow the wildflower meadows using traditional horse-drawn equipment.
Come by to see these impressive horses up close, while learning how they help care for the parks.
📍 King George’s Park | Monday 16 to Wednesday 18 March | 10am–1pm
📍 Tooting Common | Thursday 19 to Friday 20 March | 10am–1pm
📍 Wandsworth Park | Monday 23 March | 10am–1pm
This traditional method is gentle on the soil, has a low environmental impact, and supports wildlife.
